Yes, a new league has been formed under the guidance of the WIAA District IV leadership. Along with Morton, WA, Columbia Adventist, Vancouver Christian, State Deaf, Three Rivers Christian, and Kingsway; Seton Catholic will compete in the newly formed Columbia Valley League. This consortium provides complete league schedules with access to post season play in volleyball and boys/girls basketball.
The Columbia Valley League provides competition between similar sized schools determined by state classification rules. Every two years, the classification is evaluated and adjusted to provide equity among like-sized high schools.
While this gives us a schedule for volleyball and basketball, our athletic ambitions are still primed to develop a full slate of high school competition. Soccer, cross country, track and field, and others are still at the forefront of our planning. Enrollment is the determining factor as to when these other sports come to fruition. Note: athletes are still eligible to compete at their neighborhood public high school until we develop the team(s) they are interested in.
Enrollment is ongoing and spots are still available at Seton Catholic. To find out more about enrolling or to inquire about athletics, check out the enrollment process in the appropriate area of our website, or see the frequently asked questions section here. Be sure to attend our next informational open house at our newly finished initial school site on Sunday, June 7th between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Stop by to see me and some coaches to “talk” athletics!
As well, we are seeking qualified applicants to fill our coaching vacancies. Please contact me with athletic questions at and I will be happy to respond.
Check out Seton Catholic, Clark County’s next great high school! Come, learn, play and immerse yourself in a college-prep, Catholic faith-based environment!
