Student Leadership
Student LeadershipStudents at Seton Catholic are called to show leadership in both our school and the greater community. All students are encouraged to be a part of student leadership in at least one of the following three programs: Ministry, Service, Community. Two students per program are elected by their peers to be the President or Vice President, making a total of six representatives. Students interested in being a representative must submit a completed application, teacher's recommendation, and present a speech to the student body. Their peers then vote for each of the representative positions. The student representatives and faculty advisors for the 2011-2012 school year and their position descriptions are as follows:Ministry
Ministry representatives work directly with their advisor and student subcommittees to organize weekly liturgies, class retreats, prayer services and other liturgical season activities.
Service
Service representatives work directly with their advisor and student subcommittees to organize and identify school service projects, and work with local churches and pastors to help identify service opportunities for their classmates.
Community
Community representatives work directly with their advisor and student subcommittees to help organize pep rallies, school dances, spirit weeks and school sponsored events for our students.
