Fr. Thomas Belleque

Fr. Tom Belleque was appointed Seton Catholic College Prep chaplain by Archbishop Sartain in November of 2017.  He grew up in Des Moines, Washington where he graduated from Mt. Rainier High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Seattle University and his Masters in Divinity from The Catholic University of America in Washington DC.  He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Seattle in June of 1985. He has served parishes in Tacoma, White Center, Sumner, Bellevue and Vancouver. He has traveled extensively in Mexico and Central America serving orphaned, abandoned and abused children who are part of the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (Our Little Brothers and Sisters) family of orphanages.  He enjoyed 12 years (2002 – 2014) as the Catholic Chaplain of the World Champion Seattle Seahawks – Go Hawks! He enjoys sports, music, and any activity in which our Seton students participate. He currently serves as pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Vancouver and as Catholic Chaplain at Larch Mountain Correction Center in Yacolt.
