SafeTALK

A SafeTALK workshop provides valuable training on how to recognize and support individuals with thoughts of suicide. Participants learn the straightforward steps of Tell, Ask, Listen, and Keep Safe to connect at-risk individuals with life-saving resources. The workshop allows for skill practice in discussing this sensitive but important topic.

Make a connection.

Help save a life.

Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference.

  • 3-hour training in suicide alertness skills
  • Learn four basic steps to create a life-saving connection
  • Suicide First Aid

Studies show that participants gain confidence:

  • Asking people about suicide directly
  • Connecting them to life-saving resources
  • Keeping them safe until those resources take over

You will receive 3 service hours; submit to Mrs. Galster at:  dgalster@setonhigh.org

We look forward to having you join our safe-from-suicide community. This is important; you are important; together we can make a difference!
