Seton Catholic's Science Olympiad Team Competes in Regionals

At the end of February, our small but mighty Science Olympiad Team competed in the SW Washington Regional competition. Team captain and sophomore Stephanie Valent-Musleh and freshman Parker Zaeman teamed up in three events: Anatomy & Physiology, Disease Detectives, and Forensics. It has been seven years since Seton Catholic has competed in Science Olympiad, and we came back strong, finishing higher in those categories than three of the other five large high schools in the area competing in Regionals. This past Saturday, our team competed in day two of the regional competition in two events: "Codebusters" and "Write it, CAD it!" In Codebusters we received 7th place, and in Write it, CAD it! we received third place! We are so proud of this team and look forward to building this program over the course of the next few years. Congratulations to (pictured from L-R): Parker, Coach Chase, Stephanie and Sarah. Go Cougs!
