Seton Catholic moves to “4 Means More” Modified School Week

After months of research and feedback from students, parents and staff, the Seton Catholic Board of Directors has authorized moving to the 4 Means More, modified school week model for the 2024-2025 school year.

It is an exciting new change that seeks to create more focus with a concise and consistent schedule for families. Enhanced academics for our students. Allowing time for planning and preparing, collaboration, and professional development.  In addition, the model places strong emphasis on supporting mental health and wellbeing through better school and life balance with time for faith, family and community.

Specifically, this means students will have slightly extended school days Tuesday – Friday; with Monday as a dedicated Community Day.  Community Days will be used to engage in community service, focus on coursework and projects, seek academic and other self-care support when needed, participate in college preparatory activities, job shadowing and engage in school retreats and other enrichment activities.

As a Catholic, college preparatory high school, we believe this new model will better enable our students and faculty to achieve our pillars of higher learning, deeper faith and stronger character.
